Faking It For Christmas
by Esme Hart
Lauren Mitchell thrives on order, absolutely no chaos allowed, while Noah Carter seems to live for it. To Lauren, Noah is just a relentless flirt who doesn’t take anything in life seriously. She’s a total workaholic; he actually knows what work-life balance looks like. She likes everything neat and precise; he enjoys ruffling feathers just to see her reaction. He is swoon worthy and knows exactly what he wants - he has a couple of "touch her and die" moments and who doesn't like that???
This fast-paced novella hooked me from the very first page. It’s a fake-dating romcom with Christmas vibes, easy to binge in one sitting. There’s a touch of spice, plenty of innuendos, and the dynamic between Lauren and Noah is addictive. I didn’t love the third-act breakup, but thankfully it’s short-lived and yes, you can expect a satisfying HEA.
Overall, this Esme Hart novella was one of my favorite reads this month. A solid 4-star story!
